Become A Travel Agent
Why Become A Travel Agent?
Travel is a multi-billion dollar industry, with built in commissions that go unclaimed every day. If you are an organized person, with a talent for planning your own vacations, you may be a great fit to become a travel agent and turn your talents into cash. There are countless agencies offering the opportunity to become an agent, and below are some of the reasons why I chose Archer Travel Services.
Longevity: Archer Travel Services has been in business for over 70 years, and maintains an A+ BBB rating.
Costs: There is no large start-up fee, like I found with other agencies I looked into. The monthly cost is low, and could be covered with just a couple of booked vacations.
Resources: Archer Travel is a top volume seller for many of the main vacation vendors, and because of that have regular workshops and offers directly from the vendors.
Training & Support: As well as almost daily trainings direct from Archer, our own team of agents hosts zoom calls daily covering a variety of topics. There's also fun events to help get to know other agents, including team zoom mixers, and Archer's own convention in Las Vegas. Our team Facebook and Discord chat is a 24/7 source of answers on any travel related questions you may have.
No Pressure To Recruit: While agents have the option to recruit new agents to expand the team, there is zero obligation to do so. Agents can operate solo, at their own pace, and still earn great commissions on their bookings.
No quotas/minimums: Agents do not have sales targets to hit to maintain their commission levels. Whether you sell 5 or 50 vacations a year, your commission percentage remains the same.
Amazing Benefits: Agents affiliated with Archer Travel Services earn 80% commission from day one. We also have immediate access to CLIA, at a discounted rate.
Vendor Benefits: One of the best aspects of joining the travel industry are the benefits and discounts you can earn for yourself. There are countless vendors, including all of the major companies (Disney, Universal, Marriott, Wyndham, Hilton, Holiday Inn, Sandals, Carnival, Royal Caribbean, Princess, Cunard, Celebrity, MSC, Enterprise, Avis, Thrifty, Hertz, plus many more) that offer discounts to travel agents. Many just require you to complete their free trainings to qualify for major discounts. Some of the cruise lines even offer a free cruise (pay port fee only) for completing their trainings.
No Surprises: We want you to be comfortable before you sign up. We have informational zoom calls on a weekly basis, submit your info below, and we will find a time to answer all of your questions.
